1. What Slashbot is

Slashbot is a desktop application for Mac, Windows and Linux that runs on your own computer. It orchestrates local agent sessions through the Grok CLI, which you license separately from its provider. We supply the application and the account that unlocks it. We do not supply the underlying model, and we do not host your data.

2. Your account

You need an account to run the app. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for everything done through your account. Accounts are for a single person; do not share them. You must be old enough to enter a contract in your country.

3. Subscription, trial, and billing

• New accounts get a seven day free trial. No payment is taken during the trial.
• After the trial, access costs €6 per month, billed automatically through Stripe until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
• Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes where required. We may change the price with at least 30 days notice; the new price applies from your next renewal.
• Grok usage is billed by Grok, not by us. A Grok Build plan is required and is your own separate cost.

4. Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. Because the trial gives you full access before any payment, and because the service begins immediately on subscribing, you expressly request that performance begins at once and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once it has been fully performed. Statutory rights that cannot be waived are unaffected.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Slashbot to:

• break the law, or help anyone else break it;
• access systems, accounts, or data you are not authorised to access;
• send spam, run large-scale unsolicited outreach, or impersonate anyone;
• circumvent the licence check, resell access, or share one subscription across several people;
• violate the terms of any third-party service you connect, including Grok and any plugin provider.

6. Agents act on your instructions

Slashbot runs autonomous agents on your machine, with the permissions you grant them. They can read and modify files, use connected accounts, and take actions you have approved. You are responsible for what you instruct them to do and for what you approve. Model output can be wrong. Review anything consequential before you rely on it, and keep backups of work that matters.

7. Third-party services

Connecting Gmail, Calendar, Drive, GitHub, or any other plugin means granting that provider’s access under that provider’s own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or what they do with data you send them.

8. Intellectual property

We keep all rights in the Slashbot application, its name, and its design. Your subscription is a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use it while your subscription is active. You keep all rights in your own content, files, and anything your bots produce for you.

9. Availability and changes

The app runs locally, so it keeps working offline — but the account, licence check, and sign-in are online services that may be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice and refund any period you have paid for and not used.

10. Warranties and liability

Slashbot is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded — including your non-waivable rights as a consumer.

11. Termination

You can stop using Slashbot and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, with notice where practical. On termination your licence to use the app ends; your local data stays on your computer and is yours to keep or delete.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of [France], without affecting any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. Disputes go to the competent courts of [France].
